Creative Future is a registered charity, bridging the gap between the community arts and the professional arts sectors in the South East. We provide talented marginalised* artists and writers opportunities to earn income from their creative work. We give those excluded by society the chance to reintegrate through their own talents by providing training, support, exhibiting and publishing opportunities, selling & promoting their work at the highest levels. We raise the profile of individual artists/writers and the organisations they access, whilst challenging public stereotypes of marginalised people.
Our services include:
Art and Writing Courses: One day tasters to 12 week courses, tailored to individual needs.
Mentoring programme: from one to one support from an arts professional, to peer mentoring training and volunteer and work opportunities in the creative sector.
Volunteering: ask us how you might help.
Promotion: via postcards, on-line gallery, high profile exhibitions, publications & permanent exhibition sites. Artists/writers earn income from any sales of their work.
(Marginalised: *Those with mental health problems, learning difficulties, homeless people, substance misusers, physical disabilities, offenders & ex-offenders, elderly and the long term unemployed.)
