What is the Mentoring Programme?
The Creative Future mentoring programme provides structured one to one support for six months to enable participants to achieve their goals. Selected participants must show an aptitude in their artform and be committed to developing the quality of their work.

How does it work?
Mentoring participants attend a mentoring meeting where the programme is explained and they get to network with other writers/artists. Each participant has a twenty minute one to one consultation with their professional mentor to agree their goals and contact arrangements. Goals may include: getting work published/exhibited, voluntary work experience, paid work experience, peer mentoring training etc. Each mentoring agreement is tailored to the individual according to their needs and abilities. For a six month period the mentor is in regular phone or email contact to provide support in achieving goals. Creative Future provides volunteer and paid work opportunities to programme participants if appropriate. At the end of the process participants evaluate the process.

How are participants selected?
Participants can be referred by services or participants can refer themselves. Please feel free to contact us sending a sample of your work for assesment.

Volunteering
Creative Future can offer volunteering experience within a range of activities, usually office based administrative work although sometimes at practical help at events.
