Our next Arts & Health Network, Brighton & Hove meeting will be on Friday 13 December 2024, 10am – 12pm

The venue for this meeting is:

Conference Room, 5th Floor, Community Base, 113 Queens Square, Brighton, BN1 3XG  

The December Network meeting will include an artist-led creative workshop and be a festive celebration facilitated by Dominique De-Light and hosted by Creative Future.  

Artist, Karen Lintott, will talk about her creative health practice and deliver a hands on glass jar decorating workshop. Karen is an artist who creates colourful textile art inspired by science. Karen is a Masters graduate in Fine Art who formerly worked as a pharmacist. Recent artworks are inspired by the artist’s lived experience of undergoing medical investigations. Her masters paper discussing art made in response to illness has recently been published in an international journal. Karen is one of the Creative Future Flourish programme Artists who have been specially trained to deliver high quality workshops in creative health. 

This session will include some networking and we will find out from you what you would like covered in any future Arts & Health Network sessions and what impact taking part in the network has had on you and your creative health practice.
